Trading For A Living

The attraction of "Trading for a Living" is more than just gravitational. The excitement and allure of luxury and wealth have fascinated many new traders. However, the allure of luxury and wealth will not be sufficient to sustain you in pursuing the life of a trader. The learning process can be frustrating, exhilarating, tiring, exciting - all at the same time. Passion, tenacity, persistence, ambition, desire for growth, patience, motivation, are only a few characteristics that will lead you to a successful career in trading when combined with day/micro trading, swing trading, computer systems trading, and/or discretionary trading.

Computer Systems Trading

Markets are not static. They are dynamic and volatile. Markets are in a constant state of flux because the world is in a constant state of flux and constantly changing due to economic, social, and/or moral incentives. Included among those items that are constantly changing are those participating in the market, tools used to watch and monitor the markets, and programs used for trading purposes.

Articles on developing a systematic approach to understanding how to manage the dynamic and volatile market through computerized program trading will be covered in detail.

Discretionary Trading

A significant number of traders rely entirely on their judgment. This approach is good with the caveat that the trader has good decision-making skills. Good decision-making skills are essential for a traders success, in general, and longevity, in particular. If a trader learns to make timely, well-informed decisions and take well-considered actions, he/she can often enhance the trade setups to lead ultimately to brilliant and well-deserved profitable trades. However, if the trader makes poor decisions without proper risk mitigating tools, the trader risks failure, and his/her tenure as a trader will, most likely, be brutally short. Periodic articles and material to assist discretionary traders with everyday trading pitfalls will be included in the discussions.

Plan to join us in discussions to assist traders with focusing on the emotions that influence their trading habits. Successfully managing your emotions is integral to a long career in trading.
